Meet Mette
REALTOR®Mette Milland was born in Denmark and lived in several other countries, including Singapore and St. Petersburg, Russia, before settling in the United States. After graduating with a degree in international marketing and management, Mette held several senior executive positions in the cellular phone industry, including serving as the CEO of a large chain of mobile phone stores in Denmark and as the CCO of a large international service provider.
As a part of selling their business to an Indianapolis-based company, Mette and her family moved to the United States in 2007. Mette has a great passion for real estate and, over time, has bought, sold, remodeled, and decorated several properties both in the United States and in Europe, giving her a deep insight into the value of properties and how to make a relocation work efficiently.
In 2014, Mette and her family moved to Sarasota and love living here. Boating and fishing are big passions of theirs. Her two boys attended the Sarasota County Public School district, well known for its academic excellence and variety of options depending on the strengths of the student. Mette is an avid runner and rower, and a former elite soccer and badminton player. Horses, especially dressage, are also one of her passions.
Mette knows the ins and outs of moving to Sarasota and the Tampa Bay area. In addition to English, she is fluent in all the Scandinavian languages and can converse in German. Mette can help you find your perfect home.
