Born in Denmark, Mette Milland has lived across the globe—including Singapore and St. Petersburg, Russia—before settling in the United States. Her international background, paired with a degree in International Marketing and Management, has shaped a successful career that spans continents and industries.

Before entering real estate, Mette held several senior executive roles in the cellular phone industry, including CEO of a major mobile phone retail chain in Denmark and CCO of a global service provider. In 2007, her family relocated to the U.S. as part of a business acquisition by an Indianapolis-based company.

Mette’s passion for real estate grew naturally through years of buying, selling, remodeling, and decorating properties in both Europe and the U.S. This hands-on experience gives her a sharp eye for value, design, and smart relocation strategies.

In 2014, Mette and her family made Sarasota their home. They’ve fully embraced the Florida lifestyle—spending time boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Her two sons attended Pine View School, one of Sarasota County’s top-rated public schools, giving her in-depth knowledge of the area’s educational options. They both continued their education at the University of Florida. Go Gators!

A former elite soccer and badminton player, Mette is also an avid runner, rower, and dressage enthusiast. Her energy, discipline, and global perspective set her apart in today’s real estate market.
